No smoking or drinking of alcohol will be allowed in the show hall
Please keep your area clean of trash and food debris and use the
recycle bins. NO OUTSIDE food will be allowed inside the show hall.
Children and animals must be kept under control at all times
Do not touch anyone's models without their permission
Once your horse is on the table to be judged, please leave the area so
that the judge(s) can get to work
Do not hit table edges when walking around - PLEASE be careful about
this
We expect all showers and their guests to be courteous and considerate
Name badges will be given at the door and you must wear them to go in
and out of the hall
Visitors and helpers are welcome but require an ID to get a name badge
if not pre-registered. If we always know who is in the hall, our
cherished and expensive models are safe from theft
We reserve the right to ask anyone who cannot obey these rules to
leave - no refund will be given
Forms of payment accepted are money orders, personal checks and PayPal.
Entry forms must be received by November 1, 2011.
All entries received after this date will be returned. NO EXCEPTIONS.
No refunds after October 15.
Return check fee is $25 and fees will be requested using another form
of payment
REGARDING JUDGES:
We have a professional announcer, please direct all questions to her
after classes are closed
When the announcer closes a class IT IS CLOSED, no exceptions
Please leave judging area once your model has been placed on the
judging table
Do not talk or interrupt the judges once a class has been closed
Absolutely no arguing with any judge - their decision is final
SPECIFIC CLASS RULES & INSTRUCTIONS:
Limits: There are no limits but the horse must have placed 1st-4th at a qualifying show in order to enter. Please see list of Region 2 qualifying shows.
Plastic Minis are Paddock Pals/Little Bits/Pebbles size and smaller. They
must show in a Mini Plastic classes and cannot cross enter. Mini resins
and Chinas belong in THOSE divisions NOT the Mini Plastic Division. OF
Stone Pebbles belong in the MINI Plastic Division
OF models by the Peter Stone Co must show in Stone classes - no cross
entering (except Pebbles scale, see above)
Artisan Hall models show only in Artisan Hall class
A Test Run is a one-of-a-kind factory test model. This must be signed
or have COA
Artist Proofs must show in regular run
Regular Run includes mass run, Special Run, Limited Edition and
Commemoratives
Mules/Donkeys/Mammoth Jacks have their own Section to show in.
Long Ear foals show in Other Foals
Halter Rules: no dolls, props or tack except a proper halter. Halter
is optional
Be sure your model is in the correct class - if you are unsure ASK!
Model cards (Please use the 3x5 standard cards for the Region 2 point
system) must have the following information:
* on the front of the card facing the judge: Breed, gender and class
number
* on the backside of the card: Your shower number (these will be
assigned upon receipt of entry form) and the horses name
Original Finish models may have Collectibility or Rarity information
on a separate card to assist judges
Custom models may NOT identify artist or painter
Performance models require a 3x5 explanation card
A Simple Custom is a repaint and can have basic carving (ears/hooves/nostrils) and altered mane and tail - all others belong in Drastic Custom
Custom Glazes go into their own division, please see class list for
details
Performance setup time is 8 minutes. Harness and Costume are 10
minutes. The announcer will call the classes twice. They will close
after second call. Those showing an extensive harness setup please
prepare ahead of time. Should you need time for tack changes, please
notify announcer
Please fill out registration form COMPLETELY and send a list of horses
being shown for BOTH days. (horses will be verified as to eligibility
when entry received.)
Please remember - Once a class has been closed direct any and all
questions to the announcer, NOT the judges. |
